Do Not Block Your Receiving Capacity
I help hundreds of entrepreneurs expand their capacity to receive.
And one of my daughters still struggle with it.
I used to feel guilty about that.
Like somehow my methodology should have reached everyone closest to me first.
But I have learned something important over the years.
Our children do not learn from our words.
They learn from how we feel and what we do because of how we feel.
Today I sent money to one of my daughters as a gift.
She immediately said: “I can send half of it back to you”
A couple of years ago she would have said: “no mommy, you do not have to”
And I would have answered: “I know I do not have to, but I want to and it gives me joy”
That was progress. I smiled feeling more accomplished as a mom not because she has a great certification and a job she loves, but because she is learning to feel whole.
But at the same time, I felt something else was needed.
So I paused. I connected with what I was actually feeling by her response: fear, some guilt and desire for this to be different -all of these emotions are the opposite of what I want to create for my daughters.
After I went to the root of why I was feeling like this and did my own recoding, I answered:
“Please do not block your receiving capacity. You are unconditionally worthy to receive. And do not block my own receiving capacity by not letting me feel free to give.”
She went quiet.
I do not know what happened inside her in that moment.
But I know what happened inside me.
Because I have seen this exact dynamic in hundreds of my clients.
The moment someone discounts before anyone asks.
The moment someone says I cannot charge that much.
The moment someone over-gives to feel worthy of receiving.
It is never about your service or money…
It is always about the cellular imprint, not just the belief, that receiving unconditionally is not safe.
That you have to sacrifice your identity to earn it.
That you have to give something precious back so it is not safe to receive
That receiving too much might take something away from someone or make others love you less.
That cellular imprint has a root.
And the root is almost never about money at all.
My daughter reminds me of myself in the past. And of my mother, who gave so generously to everyone around her but struggled to simply receive for herself.
Three generations of women who loved deeply and gave freely but forgot that receiving is also an act of love.
When you block your receiving, you also block the joy of the person who wants to give to you and worse, you block her receiving container too.
And if you think from the perspective of what your soul came to create…
You are also sustaining the same revenue ceiling.
That is the part nobody talks about.
Your revenue ceiling is not just about strategy or mindset or your nervous system.
One cellular imprint that impacts your revenue ceiling is the somatic belief that somewhere, somehow, you are not quite unconditionally worthy to receive.
And that somatic belief has a name. And it has a root. And it can be recoded.
Not by reading this post.
But by finding exactly where in your personal or ancestral story that somatic belief was first written.
With love and beautifully imperfect humanity,
Silvia Galvez
